You do get to sell during the conference.

This conference has two goals: to meet the needs of parents and service providers who want to support a person who wants their own business and to meet the needs of people who want to own their own business.

We are going to have the conference on April 14, 2011 at the Ferndale Public Library. 10-2. Sessions in morning will repeat in afternoon. Parents and other support persons can hear about microenterprise business planning, Social Security implications, and the real nitty gritty from parents who support their kid’s microenterprises. Please check back here periodically to see what new plans we have for our conference. Right now we have a plan to create something extraordinary. It will be in the spring, 2012 and take place in Oakland County.

This conference is designed for people who have a microenterprise now and want to make it better, people who are thinking about starting a microenterprise, and people who will support a person and their microenterprise.

There will be very short work stations for people with disabilities to learn small parts of running a business. They will leave the conference with hands on experience.

There will also be presentations by professionals who are experts in taxes, Social Security, small business loans, transitions services, fiscal intermediaries, and more.  These will be geared to parents and others who support microenterprise entrepreneurs.
